Memphis Only C-USA Entry at #19 in AP Poll: Feb 25th, 2013

Memphis (#19) is the lone C-USA team in this week's AP Top 25 poll.

Memphis moves up two spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over Houston, 81-74. After that came another win at home against Southern Miss, 89-73.

Indiana stays number one for the third week in a row. Saint Louis enters the Top 25 at #18 with an upset win at home over then-24th ranked Virginia Commonwealth, 76-62 and an upset win at then-15th ranked Butler, 65-61. Louisiana Tech comes in at #25 with a win against Central Baptist, 118-48. Colorado State falls out of the rankings this week with an upset loss at UNLV, 61-59 and a loss at home to then-16th ranked New Mexico, 91-82. Virginia Commonwealth drops out after a win against Xavier, 75-71 and a loss to Saint Louis.

Marquette is a big mover this week to #22 after a win at Seton Hall, 67-46 and an upset loss at Villanova, 60-56. Michigan State tanked five spots to #9 after losses to then-18th ranked Ohio State, 68-60 and 1st ranked Indiana, 72-68.
