StatSheet's C-USA Player of the Week for February 6th goes to Memphis's Joe Jackson. Southern Methodist's Jalen Jones has won StatSheet's C-USA Freshman of the Week. Also, Memphis's Joe Jackson is StatSheet's C-USA 6th Man of the Week. Jackson put up respectable numbers with 2.5 rebounds per game, 14 points per game, and 5.5 assists per game. The Memphis sophomore put these numbers up in a win against Xavier and a loss to Southern Miss.

Jackson posted 3 assists and 66% shooting in 18 minutes in a 75-72 loss to Southern Miss. He then led all scoring with 14 points and added 8 assists in a narrow 72-68 win over Xavier.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week award for Joe Jackson. However, he has received multiple honorable mentions. The runner-up this week is senior Darnell Dodson from Southern Miss. Honorable mention goes to LaShay Page, a junior from Southern Miss.

StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week: Southern Methodist's Jalen Jones

Jalen Jones averaged 29 minutes starting both games for Southern Methodist. He led all C-USA freshmen in free throws (5.5 per game). In a 62-43 loss to East Carolina, Jones led the Mustangs in scoring with 11 points and in rebounding with 8. In a 59-52 loss to UCF, he led scoring with 16 points on 66% shooting.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week honor for Jalen Jones. Ricky Tarrant from Tulane grabs runner-up. Honorable mention goes to Julian Washburn from Texas-El Paso. TaShawn Thomas, who finished 4th, was the highest ranking freshman for Houston.

StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week: Memphis's Joe Jackson

Joe Jackson, a 6-1 Sophomore guard, played an average of 24 minutes over the two games for the Tigers. In the loss to Southern Miss, Jackson added 3 assists and 66% shooting. During the win over Xavier, he led all scoring with 14 points and added 8 assists.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week win for Joe Jackson. Darnell Dodson, a senior guard from Southern Miss, is runner up. Neil Watson, a sophomore guard from Southern Miss, earns honorable mention. The highest ranking 6th man from Houston was Joseph Young who finished 8th. Houston has yet to win StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week.
